How many peak amps do I actually need?

It depends on your engine, not just your car type. As a guide: 400–600A suits small gas engines up to 3.0L, 600–1000A covers most mid-size cars and SUVs up to 6.0L, and 3000A+ is recommended for larger trucks, V8s, and diesel engines, which need more current to turn the glow plugs and starter over. Check your owner's manual for engine displacement if you're unsure.
How many jump starts can I get on one charge?

Most Eigotrav packs deliver 10–20+ jump starts per full charge depending on model and battery condition. We still recommend topping up every 1–3 months in storage, since lithium packs slowly self-discharge and you want full power the moment you need it.
Can I use it on trucks, motorcycles, or diesel engines?

Yes. Each model lists a gas/diesel engine-size rating (for example, up to 10L gas or 8.5L diesel on our 6000A packs). They also work for motorcycles, ATVs, boats, and lawn equipment as long as the vehicle uses a standard 12V battery.

What's the difference between peak amps and CCA?

CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) is a rating printed on your car battery that measures how much current it can deliver at 0°F. Peak amps is the jump starter's own maximum output rating. They're not directly interchangeable, but a jump starter's peak amp rating should comfortably exceed your battery's CCA for a reliable start, especially in cold weather.
Will it damage my car's electronics if I connect it wrong?

No, Eigotrav jump starters include reverse-polarity protection, spark-proof clamps, and over-current/over-voltage safeguards, so the unit simply won't engage (and will usually alert you with a light or beep) if the clamps are connected incorrectly.
What else can I use it for besides jump-starting?

Beyond jump‑starting, it doubles as a USB power bank for phones and tablets, an LED flashlight with SOS mode, and, on air‑compressor models, a 150PSI tire inflator for topping up tires on the go. It also includes a suction/vacuum feature that can deflate items like air beds and food‑saving bags.
